The Obama Prophecy

Image result for obama prophecyIn the African nation of Kenya there are several independent Christian churches and the Nomiya Luo Church is the largest independent faction that was founded in the early 1900s by Johanwa Owalo, an acclaimed prophet and supposedly held in the same esteem as Jesus Christ and Muhammad among the Christians and Muslims. This early 20th century seer made this horrific prophecy about the United States in 1912 (Excerpted from “Visions of the Great Nyasaye, A Study of the Luo Religion in Kenya”, written by Sister Mary McCrea and published by the Order of Sorcha Faal, © 1915):
So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. Their great cities will burn, their crops and cattle will suffer disease and death, their children will perish from diseases never seen upon this Earth, and I reveal to you the greatest [mystery] of all as I have been allowed to see that their [the United States] destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons.”
The article by Sorcha Faal continued with:
"... In Kenya there are also several independent Christian churches that have broken ties with other Christian or Protestant denominations. The largest of these independent churches was the Nomiya Luo Church, whose founder, Johanwa Owalo, was an early convert to Christianity in 1900. In 1907 he had a vision in which he was taken up into heaven by the angel Gabriel. He saw that Europeans and Asians, and even the popes, were not allowed to enter heaven. Later, he converted to Islam and began to preach that mission churches were in opposition to traditional beliefs. His mix of Christian, Anglican, and traditional practices attracted many followers. In Kenya today there are still many mission churches. Many worldwide religious groups have a strong presence. The number of Kenyan clergy has grown in the past years and most of the Roman Catholic and Church Province of Kenya hierarchies are Kenyan."
To some scholars, the 100+ year old Kenya prophecy of the future “Son of Kenya” begins to unfold…while other theologians disagree and deem that Sorchal Faal has no biblical basis to back up its claims. Here are the pros and the cons of this prophecy...

The Pros

There is a striking coincidence and a great accuracy to the Kenyan prophet's words that seem to parallel our troubled times in the modern world today. According to the prophet Owalo, a "son" of the Luo tribal religion will be America's downfall. President Barack Obama was the son of Barack Obama, Sr.who was born in Nyansa Province, Kenya. He (Obama, Sr.) was of Luo ethnicity. In this respect, President Obama appears to be the fulfillment of the prophecy, "destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons".

It is interesting to note that while Obama was seeking to become leader of the United States, the nation of his father was in a crisis due to the "flawed" election which plunged the Kenyan people into tribal warfare which claimed over 1,000 lives, and which many of the Luo’s believed was ushering in the times predicted by their prophet, Johanwa Owalo.
The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower…” (Deuteronomy 28:43)
In a Forbes.com article dated 10-26-08 by Amir Taheri, author of 10 books on Iran, the Middle East and Islam, the following was asked:
Q. "Is Barack Obama the "promised warrior" coming to help the Hidden Imam of Shiite Muslims conquer the world?"
A. This question has made the rounds in Iran since last month, when a pro-government Web site published a Hadith (or tradition) from a Shiite text of the 17th century. The tradition comes from Bahar al-Anvar (meaning Oceans of Light) by Mullah Majlisi, a magnum opus in 132 volumes and the basis of modern Shiite Islam. According to the tradition, Imam Ali Ibn Abi-Talib (the prophet's cousin and son-in-law) prophesied that at the End of Times and just before the return of the Mahdi, the Ultimate Saviour, a "tall black man will assume the reins of government in the West." Commanding "the strongest army on earth," the new ruler in the West will carry "a clear sign" from the third imam, whose name was Hussein Ibn Ali. The tradition concludes: "Shiites should have no doubt that he is with us."
In a curious coincidence the American president's first and second names [Barack Hussein] mean "the blessing of Hussein" in the language of Arabic and Persian. His surname [Obama] is written in the Persian alphabet, and reads "O Ba Ma", which means "he is with us," the magic formula in Majlisi's tradition.”

The Cons

Skeptics of the prophecy point out the fact the Obama Prophecy is not based on biblical account and the Order of Sorcha Faal is not a legit organization. While Sorcha Faal is proclaimed to be a Catholic order, the Vatican does not recognize such an order in Catholicism. Some will disagree with this dispute and claim the Sorcha Faal Order is a worldwide Catholic organization that appears to get most of its intelligence from the Russian military and Intelligence agencies.

The website Snopes.com debunks the U. S. president being the Anti-Christ, and therefore this gives no credence or merit to the Kenyan Prophet's words being directed at Obama.

Another conspiracy is that Sorcha Faal is a man named David Booth who perpetrated the hoax not long after 9/11. When [inconvenient] research started indicating that 9/11 wasn't what the government claimed and the conspiracy of an American 'cover-up' began, Sorcha Faal suddenly appeared on the scene.

The website, http://www.abovetopsecret.com, has also debunked the theory othe Obama Prophecy by stating the following on one of their forum threads:

“Note: There is no such person as “Sorcha Faal, Russian academic” “Sorcha Faal” is actually David Booth, an American computer programmer “Sorcha” is alleged to be a Russian academic but there is absolutely no record of anyone with such a name in Russian academia. These periodic eruptions have absolutely no basis in any kind of fact or reality and are typical of the nonsense bespangling the internet. These reports, however, have a good deal of entertainment value. This idiocy is almost as funny as the Scientology cult babblings. Ed.

The nature of the Sorcha Faal/David Booth viral hoax campaign infiltrating the Internet is indeed questioned by many scholars and intelligence agencies alike, but there are many other theologians and researchers that debunk the debunkers...

Even the renowned 20th century psychic, Edgar Casey, made this prediction in the 1930's ...
"The 44th US president would be black and he would be the last one. The 44th US President will pull the nuclear trigger."
For many it's enough to know that the signs pointing to the End Times or End of the Age are appearing all around us. Whether the prophecies that circulate on the Internet are actually true or not, the ongoing question remains... Who's ? Right
